Running a guild is alot of work. For this reason delegation of responsabilities is a necessity. Thus being promoted, especially to the rank of officer, demands a serious mind and more dedication than the lower ranks.
With the general responsabilities comes to set a good example by following the rules of conduct with more carefulness, to be a mediator in conflicts and to be the external "face" of the guild. Furthermore not to misuse his or her rank to gain inapropriate advantages.
